A check off of the "To See" list

So one of the main places I insisted we see while "out west" was....Yellowstone. Matt was just glad to cross off another place.

It was about a 5 hour drive up to Jackson, Wy where we were staying.
The drive was beautiful.

And then we arrived to our hotel. This hotel was gorgeous, and in the cutest little area Teton Village. We could walk to dinner and shops, loved it!

Side note, hotels in this area are CRAZY expensive. I spent more on this hotel than at a disney resort hotel. But it was super nice.
The boys favorite part was this pool. Half of it is outside and half inside.

The first night we got in late and walked over to the Mangy Moose for dinner.

Super fun restaurant. Animals and memorabilia hanging everywhere. The food was amazing.

The next day we headed to through the Tetons to Yellowstone.

we stopped in the Tetons for a potty break and the boys got to see these bear skins a ranger had out.

Next onto Yellowstone. We went on a hike, skipped some rocks, and heard a Ranger speech. Unfortunatly, the road to Old Faithful from the south entrance was closed. So in order to go we would of went all the way around aka a 2 1/2 hour drive. We were all over being in the car, so we passed on that.

Brayden finished all of the requirements for his Junior Ranger Patch and got sworn in.

And a hike up to a waterfall.

Afterwards we headed back for some poolside pizza. Then we headed into Jackson for some ice cream. Loved this little town.

Such a Fun weekend !
